What is 1-800-VENEERS™?

1-800-VENEERS™ is a dental technology and provider-matching platform, not a dental practice. It publishes patient education, estimates cost ranges, and connects people with independently licensed dentists who own their own practices. It does not diagnose, does not treat, does not employ dentists, and does not charge patients for dental treatment.

Who owns 1-800-VENEERS™ and what is its corporate structure?

1-800-VENEERS™ is owned and operated by Dr. James W. Dunnavant, DDS, as an individual sole proprietor in Nevada. There is no incorporated operating company and therefore no Nevada entity number to look up. The intellectual property, the domain, and the platform are held personally. Dental care is delivered by separate, independently owned practices.

Who actually provides your dental care?

Your care is provided by an independently licensed dentist working in a practice that person or their partners own. That dentist is solely responsible for examining you, diagnosing, recommending treatment, performing it, and following up. 1-800-VENEERS™ is a platform: it introduces you and provides software. Using this site creates no doctor-patient relationship.

What is Core Truth Labs?

Core Truth Labs is the internal research and editorial function behind this site. It builds the datasets — price index, technology status ledger, provider verification records — and sets the sourcing standards every page follows. It is not a separately incorporated company, does not employ clinicians, and does not treat patients or handle patient payments.

What is CL3AN?

CL3AN is a consumer-facing brand licensed for use by independently owned dental offices. It is a name and a standard, not a company that treats patients. A CL3AN-branded office is owned by its own dentist, holds its own license, sets its own fees, and bills its own patients. The brand license does not transfer any clinical authority.

Who charges you, and who is responsible for refunds?

The independent dental practice that treats you charges you, receives your money, and is responsible for refunds and billing disputes. 1-800-VENEERS™ does not bill patients for dental treatment and takes no share of a clinical fee. The one exception is consumer products bought on this site, which are charged by the product vendor's checkout.

Who is responsible for your records, follow-up, and warranty?

Your treating practice holds your clinical records, owns your follow-up care, and is the party that honors any restorative warranty it offers. 1-800-VENEERS™ retains no protected health information and cannot produce, correct, or transfer a clinical record. Warranties come from the practice or the laboratory, in writing, never from this platform.

What happens to your care if a provider leaves the network?

If a provider leaves the network, your care does not change hands: the dentist who treated you still owes you continuity of care and record access under their state dental board's rules. 1-800-VENEERS™ is not a clinic, holds no records, and cannot assume, transfer, or complete treatment. We can help you locate another verified provider.

What does “verified provider” actually mean here?

Verified means four things were checked against public registries by a person, not a form: legal identity, the National Provider Identifier, an active state dental license, and the practice location. Every listing shows the date of that check and links to the registries so you can repeat it yourself in about two minutes.
