What happens to your care if a provider leaves the network?
Direct answer
If a provider leaves the network, your care does not change hands: the dentist who treated you still owes you continuity of care and record access under their state dental board's rules. 1-800-VENEERS™ is not a clinic, holds no records, and cannot assume, transfer, or complete treatment. We can help you locate another verified provider.

| Obligation | Who owes it | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Continuity of care | Treating dentist | State dental board practice rules |
| Record retention and release | Treating practice | State record-retention statutes |
| Notice of practice closure or transfer | Treating practice | State board abandonment rules |
| Completing paid, unfinished treatment | Treating practice | Your treatment agreement |
| Finding you another provider | Optional, by us | Platform service — not a clinical obligation |
Patient-abandonment rules differ by state. Check the board where your practice is located; Nevada's licensee lookup and rules are linked below.
What to do first
- Contact the practice directly — a delisting is a business change, not a closure.
- Request a complete copy of your records, including imaging.
- Ask in writing how paid, unfinished treatment will be completed.
- If the practice is unreachable or refuses, file with the state dental board.
Why we say this plainly
Networks that imply they will 'take care of it' create a false safety net. The enforceable duty sits with the licensed clinician and their board, and knowing that is what lets a patient actually get help.
What we cannot confirm
- We cannot compel a practice to act, and we have no authority over any license.
- We cannot guarantee that a replacement provider will honor another practice's warranty or pricing.
