Editorial & Medical Review Policy

    Last updated: July 19, 2026

1-800-VENEERS® publishes patient-education content about cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Because our topics are Your-Money-or-Your-Life (YMYL) medical decisions, we hold every page to the standards below.

    1. Who writes and reviews our content

Clinical pages are medically reviewed by Dr. James W. Dunnavant, DDS, a licensed dentist practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada and New York, New York, with additional review by board-certified specialists in our Yomi® provider network when the topic requires surgical or prosthodontic expertise.

    1a. Mailing addresses

Las Vegas office: 3960 Howard Hughes Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89169
New York office: 274 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016

    2. Sources we rely on

We prefer primary sources and peer-reviewed studies. Manufacturer marketing pages are cited only when clearly labeled.

    3. Review cadence

Clinical pages are reviewed at least every 12 months and whenever new guidance from the ADA, AAOMS, or FDA changes the standard of care. Each page shows its last-reviewed date next to the reviewer's name.

    4. Corrections

Spot an inaccuracy? Email corrections@1800veneers.com. We correct factual errors within 5 business days and note material updates at the top of the affected page.

    5. Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are independent of advertising and provider-network sponsorships. Providers pay to be listed in our directory, but they cannot edit clinical copy or dictate rankings on educational pages.

    6. Conflict of interest

1-800-VENEERS® operates a paid provider directory and sells consumer oral care products. Where a page recommends a service or product we sell, we disclose the relationship inline. Dr. Dunnavant discloses his ownership interest on his author page.

    7. Medical disclaimer

Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your dentist or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition.

    8. AI-assisted content

We use AI tools to draft summaries and location pages. Every clinical claim is reviewed by a human clinician before publication, and AI is never used to fabricate patient stories, statistics, or citations.
